Chapter 1
Preface
Nowdays all of us has already know about flood. Flood is one of a disaster that can happened every where in this earth. Actually flood is just not a disaster , but it’s more about human’s bad habit. Indirectly our activities is destroyed our environment and this earth. The earth is already old, and if we can’t keep earth, earth can’t keep us too.
Many people don’t be aware too change their habit, because they are never think and imagine the effects. They act like it is not their job to take care of earth and let the saving earth community to do this job. But they are totally wrong it is all our job to saving earth.
About flood, if we just see or watch news about flood, we just understand they are sad but we can’t feel what the victims’ felt. In fact there is a big difference with understand and feeling, if we just understand it’s we just think oh I poor the victims’ they are in trouble. But if we can feel what they felt, we are totally care and have an affection to help them by giving some money for charity, it make us doing something.
Flood is just not happened in village because they are not making reforestation, but also in a big city because clogged of drainage. And it causes by human’s habit. That’s why we also make flood happens.
And if flood is coming it’s just not a local disaster but it’s a national disaster, because the president must be take care of it. So it’s very important to keep our habit for keep our environment. Doing something well to earth and earth will do the same for us.
Chapter 2
Content
1. Definition
Flood is an overflow the water of river to land. It also happened because rain. If the rain can’t stop falling down for a few days and the location has a bad drainage, flood can be happened.
When flood is coming the land is full of water and it became a disaster.
We can see flood in this picture :
It’s flood in a city.
We can see many people lost their house because flood.
Maybe we think it’s funny because the car is on the water, but in fact it’s very bad and bring suffering for human.
2. The causes
a. Illegal logging
Illegal logging is an illegal activity to cutting many trees without legitimate license. This activity can make disaster for us.
But a man who doing this job, don’t fell guilty and don’t care about the effects.

We can imagine what will happened if there are no trees anymore. Flood will be our friend.
b. Clogged of drainage
Clogged of drainage can be happened because man throw the garbage in a wrong place, like in a street or gutter. When it’s rain the garbage make gutter full and the water it’s out from it’s drain, this can make flood. But sometimes we think clogged of drainage it’s not a big problem. We will realize if we see flood had already happen.

c. No reforestation
Many people don’t be aware about this, they act like don’t care and don’t know the effects. If there is no more trees it means we can die slowly. Because based on research a tree can supply O2 for three people.
d. No green land for penetrate water
Green land is very important to save water when it’s rain. The water saving in soil and don’t flooding the house of resident.
3. The effects
a. Lost of precious thing
Lost of precious thing means lost of house, house equipments, important documents, rice field, pets, and etc.
b. Lost member of family
It can e happened because when flood happening, they are not in same place. So they are separated or washed away by flood.
c. Easy to attack by disease
It can happened because after flood there is no clean water, dirty environment and bad sanitation. This situation is so potential for viruses and bacteria attack a man.
d. Activitiy is not going well
When flood we lost our place for school and work and also our uniform for school and work.

4. How to Response
a. Looking for our family
When flood is coming collect all the member and make a call with the other member in different location. It make us can’t separate and inform the other about this disaster.
b. Take the precious thing
If you still have a time to collect the precious thing take and bring it with you. But your self it’s priority.
c. Looking for the highest place
Move on to the highest place. If your home have 2nd floor going upstairs. If you live in a city you can go to high building, if you live in a village you can go to hill.

5. How to Prevent
a. Build a good drainage
By making a good drainage we can avoid flood. Because the water flow in gutter and not in street or come into the house of resident.
We can see in this picture, people work together making a drainage :
b. Throw the spam in trash can
By throwing in a right place or in trash can, garbage it’s not in gutter or in street, so water can’t be clogged by garbage and avoid flood.
c. Keep the forest
By keeping forest, trees and soil can help to saving water. So when it’s rain the water is not flowing to the city, village or to the house of resident. Indirectly it helps us to saving from flood.
We also can make reforestation by plant tree.

Chapter 3
Summary :
Flood is one of disaster that happened in this world. It comes naturally or because human’s bad activity. Flood can be happened by some reasons, it’s like illegal logging, clogged of drainage, no reforestation, and no green land. But it can be prevent by build a good drainage, throw the spam in trash can, and keep the forest.
If flood is already happened, there are three act, we should do first; looking for our family, take the precious thing, looking for the highest place. and also there are four effects lost of precious thing, Lost member of family, Easy to attack by disease, Activitiy is not going well
Our environment it’s nice and safety place to live, but if we can keep it, it can’t keep us too. So keep your environment and you keep your self, family, and friends.
